I have enjoyed reading and listening to Tom Peters since first reading his book In Search of Excellence: Lessons from AmericaĆ¢€™s Best-Run Companies more than 20 years ago. Mr. Peters made several points that apply to lawyers so I urge you to listen to the podcast. One point he made was that your success will depend on the quality of your work and the quality of your network. I know many lawyers who focus on the quality of their work. I know fewer lawyers who focus on the quality of their network. Here are two important points to consider: Your marketing strategy should include both.
